10 steps to 3D Exterior
These are the ten steps that any 3D rendering company uses for architectural 3D visualization:
Make a collection of all the files that you have made that relate to the construction project, in all formats: Microsoft Word, PDF, 3DS and SKP, as well as photographs, slides, and videos.
Each of your blueprints should contain the section of the building for each floor. This will help us understand your drawings correctly and create stunning 3D visualization later.
They should also contain drawings of the proposed building from each side. Based on floor plans only, not possible to create 3D visualization. This is a fact which will tell you every other 3d rendering company.
The dimensions for the building as a whole, plus all of its parts. If you have pdf files, then dimensions must have, in order to save our time and your budget. In the case of dwg files, it is not so crucial, because we can manually get all dimensions from your drawings with the help of AutoCAD program.
5) Color and materials:
You should also include in your blueprints a color description of each part of the building in the RAL system, which is a system of color matching developed in Germany in 1927 and used throughout Europe. This will eliminate unnecessary discussions in the future and saves time for delivering your project.
All the information regarding the landscaping of the property, including the parking lot, the grounds and any paths or structures that you intend to lay out or plants to be put in, are also to be in the blueprints. Indicate where each of them is to be placed and the classification of each plant, and make a height map as well. Again – do you pay for 3D visualization or landscape designing, or both? It is your budget, so make up your mind!
7) Type of lighting:
Lighting is a very important part of any architectural structure because it determines how well people will be able to do their work there as well as get around the place. Some types of lighting are better than others for certain purposes: Fluorescent lights, for instance, are commonly used in offices, though rarely in the private household, because they produce so much light while at the same time lasting longer than many other kinds of lights. You need to determine, and indicate in your architectural 3D visualization, whether the lighting scene will be daytime or nighttime.
8) Final resolution:
The image resolution needs to be specified, for it will determine how well people will be able to make things out when the image is presented on a computer screen or printed on paper. if you will change your mind at the end of the project then you should know, that rendering process of an image is not a quick one, unless you have lots of money and you are willing to pay up to 100 euros only for rendering using render farms.
In case of render farms, you can get your image in a couple of hours, plus 3D visualizer post-production work. In the case of smaller render farms, such a process can take days, not hours.
What are your wishes and expectations regarding your future project? There do you plan to use 3D visualizations? By what time do you hope to have the entire project completed? What purpose do you want the building and everything in it to serve? All of this, and much more, should be written down and provided to a 3d rendering company.
After all of your hard work preparing and gathering all that information, you must not forget to send it to the Faraday 3D team, your 3D architectural rendering service provider. You want everybody who is to play a role in the realization of your building project to have all the data with which they need to work, and you also need them all to be on the same page.
